The Grammar Club – Code Monkey
Ah, so this is how it feels to know you’ve finally made it: The Grammar Club has covered Code Monkey and put it up on thesixtyone. Their skills are such that it now sounds to me like it might be a real song or something. How did they do it!?
Song Fu Round 2
Voting has begun for round 2 of Quickstop Entertainment’s Song Fu Challenge. As you may recall, Paul and Storm and I were each asked to write a song in the style of the other.
Some will say that I went too far. In fact, I will say it right now: I went too far. But the first thing I knew about my Paul and Storm song was how it would end. And then what choice did I have really? The thing writes itself.
The song is called Big Dick Farts a Polka, and I apologize to everyone in advance.
Machinima.com Contest
Machinima.com UK are holding a machinima contest – submit a video for “Bacteria” or “Todd the T1000” and possibly you will win a laptop, some type of Sony camera thing (I’m too lazy to look it up), or a Thing a Week Box. How can you not enter?
Rules and prizes and such can be found here.
This Evening
Big old Darin Strauss book party happening tonight (Monday) – Darin will read from his new book More than it Hurts You, Hodgman will read from his new book More Information than You Require, and I will trot out a few of the same old songs because I have no new book or anything. But there will be free wine.
