Thing a Week One

Now available at CDBaby, and eventually it should find its way to the iTunes Music Store and other digital music outlets. What a nice gift this CD would make for everyone you know!

My Trademark

Short notice! For a long time I thought I wasn’t going to be staying in Seattle through the weekend, but turns out I am. At Eventful.com there are 50-something demanders for a show, so I’ll make this offer: if anyone can somehow find an appropriate venue that still, impossibly, has a slot open this Saturday night, I’ll play it. If you know a booker (or are a booker) email me and we’ll talk. I’m doing a radio interview on KUOW on Friday, so I’ll have that opportunity to promote it. And of course my mailing list of hundreds of thousands of Seattle residents.

OMG! This is totally crazy!

Poor Pluto

Oh great, here comes Pluto and Charon…

826 Seattle Show

Rapstar0 posts this in the forums, as I should have done in this space long ago (John and I are emceeing – well, John does the whole “talking” part of it anyway):

JoCo is playing in Seattle this Friday night, September 1, at a benefit for 826 Seattle, a nonprofit reading program. Also on the bill are Zach Rogue of Rogue Wave, Colin Meloy of the Decembrists, Smoosh, writers Dave Eggers, Daniel Handler (Lemony Snickett), and John Hodgman. Details at http://www.bookeaters.org/ or http://www.826seattle.org/. And it’s only $30!
