Back from Aspen
Well, I sure did mean to blog about it while it was happening, but now it’s over. Truth is, I was very busy with the comedy. In case you don’t follow my every move, I just got back from the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen (and boy are my arms tired). It was a good time, though my luggage didn’t make it to Aspen until about 24 hours after I did, which was annoying because my guitar, coat and toothbrush were in it. But it all turned out OK, and laughs were had, and history was made.
There were a lot of great folks there, but the real standout for me was Tim Minchin, who did this great, strange, cabaret act with a piano and no shoes on. I’m a sucker for funny musicians who can actually play, and this guy can really tear it up. On top of all that he’s a very friendly and accessible guy. We talked shop, you know, comedy business.
Anyway, now I’m back and catching up. So what’s been happening on the internet?

Did you get to hang out with Stephen Colbert? Why does he get to be Man of the Year instead of you? Does it have anything to do with man parts?
