[edit] Trivia

  • The cover is an actual sign in Jonathan's home town of Colchester, Connecticut (though it doesn't really have his name on it) and the back is a satellite photo of "downtown" with important sites labeled.
  • The album was recorded in Pro Tools on an Apple Mac computer in Jonathan's Brooklyn apartment.
  • Whereas the preceeding Smoking Monkey and the following Thing a Week albums are all full LP albums, Where Tradition Meets Tomorrow is one of Jonathan's only EPs. (The other is Our Bodies, Ourselves, Our Cybernetic Arms, which originated as a downloadable magazine supplement.)
